With the growing success and popularity of the Bar's Leaks Eliminator, Rislone (sister company to Bar's Leaks) has decided to come step up and sponsor a new truck for 2009:  The Rislone Defender.  While the Bar's Leaks Eliminator will contine to promote Bar's Leaks' Rear Main Seal Repair product line, the Rislone Defender will be introducing fans nationwide to Rislone's new, highly-advanced Fuel Injector Cleaner.

Read on to follow the buildup process of the Truk Wurks' latest creation, the Rislone Defender!

While working off of a strict budget is always tough, the Truk Wurks team opted to not skimp on out on safety equipment.  From Zach's SFI-15 firesuit to the Fire Fox in-cab supression system, no corners were cut.  This photo illustrates the Beard racing seat that will keep Zach comfy, until the team can upgrade to a PEI/Butler seat.  Keeping Zach in place will be a set of custom Hooker Harness restraints.  Note also the aluminum roof pan and fuel/power shut off switches.

And here sits the finished product.  After months of hard work and sticking to a skin-tight budget, the Rislone Defender would finally see big tires.

As it sits here, the truck is missing only a few lexan panels to be fully race-ready.  The TKO vinyl wrap looked great sitting outside, no longer at home under fluorescent shop lights.

Another shot of the Defender's Dan Patrick-built PEI rear shocks.  The team is excited to see how the shocks perform out on the track.   Hopes run high that eventually both trucks will be fully equipped with these next-generation shocks.

Helping to give the Super Duty body a "real-life" look are 4 8" KC HiLites on a custom front light bar, and black "Super Duty" inlaid letters on the grille, from Recon.

It has been a long, tiring process to go from a pile of steel tubing, to a welded chassis, to a fully assembled monster.Needless to say, the team is quite happy the truck is further along than it was in the fall of 2008!

Stay tuned to TrukWurksOffRoad.com to see how the Rislone Defender fares at its first event on May 16th at Elko Speedway, in Elko, MN!
